Anh Duc Mai is a lecturer at the Division of Construction Management, Faculty of Project Management, Da Nang University of Science and Technology, Viet Nam. His research interests are concrete, steel reinforced concrete structure, FRP strengthened concrete structure, FRP reinforced concrete structures and application of artificial intelligence in construction.

Anh Duc Mai earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wollongong, Australia, MSc from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and Bachelor from Da Nang University of Science and Technology, Viet Nam.

He is supervising 3 master students. He secured US$70,000 of research funds alone and with collaboration with his colleagues. He has published 8 international journal articles and 4 conference articles.

He serves as a reviewer for international journals and a technical committee of several scientific conferences.

(1) Study to design flexible pavement based on Mechanical-Empirical Pavement Design Guide and apply M-E PDG in Vietnam, Principle Investigator, 2013-2015, the Da Nang University of Science and Technology, B2013-DN02-02.

(2) Investigation the axial-flexural interaction of FRP confined high strength square reinforced concrete column, Principle Investigator, 2022-2023, the Da Nang University of Science and Technology, B2022-DN01-02.

(3) Investigation the performance of partially FRP confined square reinforced concrete column, Principle Investigator, 2022-2023, the Fund for Development of the University of Da Nang, B2022-DN01-02.

(4) Developing integrated machine learning model to predict the ultimate conditions of FRP confined concrete columns, Main Investigator, 2023-2025, the Ministry of Education, B2023-DNA-15.

(5) Developing artificial intelligence model to forecast the compressive strength and elastic modulus of recycled concrete, Main Investigator, 2023-2025, the Ministry of Education, B2023-DNA-17.
