Digital transformation is an inevitable trend in the current industrial revolution 4.0. The three core
factors that determine Vietnam's success in this process are people, institutions and technology - in which
"people" play a key role. Digital transformation is important for all economic sectors in the industrial
revolution 4.0, which is a global trend and Vietnam's agriculture industry is no exception. Digital
transformation in agriculture is seizing many opportunities but also facing many barriers and challenges. In
the current context of extensive international integration, when nearly 70% of Vietnamese residents still rely
on agriculture as the main source, improving the quality of human resources in general and human resources
in the agricultural sector in Vietnam in particular is an urgent requirement.The article discusses the current
situation of human resources for the agricultural sector of Vietnam in recent years, finds opportunities and
challenges, and then proposes solutions to improve the quality of human resources for the agricultural sector
in the country. We are in the digital age
