ABSTRACT
This article aims to relationship between the meaning of the of ‘meokta’(eat)in Korean and ‘an’(eat) in Vietnamese. For this aim, it is needed more object methodconsiderating firstly, the case and semantic role and secondly categorial and selectionalproperties.‘meokta’ and ‘ăn’ take the transitive and the intransitive usage respectively, andin the transitive usage it has the actor, the experiencer and the local as its subject.But in Korean does not have the causal usage as its subject. And in Vietnamese,the experiential suject can take only the external thing as its argument but in Koreanthe experiential suject can take the external thing and mental status as its argumen.Also more away from the basic meaning, there are many diffrent meanings between‘meokta’ and ‘an’ and also in the case that they have same meanigs many argumentsselected by them could not be coincided.
