TiO2/Polyaniline nanocomposite was fabricated on mild steel electrochemically. The electrolyte was consisted of 0.3M H2C2O4, 0.1M aniline monomer and 0.01M TiO2 nanoparticle (20-25nm diameter). Polymerisation was carried out in 3-electrode cell with current density 1mA/cm2. The electrolyte was stirred at 500 rpm with magnetic stirrer. The nanocomposite coating was characterized with TEM, XRD and EDX. The self-healing of the coating could be seen in SKP, OCP and EIS results. The obtained results showed that nanocomposite coating could provide anticorrosion ability for low carbon steel. OCP could stablise in a certain time as well as delamination was showed down. They were the evidences of self-healing ability of coating. However, the corrosion efficiency was not high. The role of TiO2 could not be seen clearly.
