ABSTRACT
In the context of globalization in which English language competence along with soft skills haveincreasingly been of great significance, it is the responsibilities of both educators and teachers who are to facilitate project-based learning (PBL). However, fruitful implementation PBL in an effective way has always been a matter of concern facing English teachers.This research paper aims at investigating scaffolding strategies to facilitate students learning in PBL in Business English classrooms at Danang University of Foreign Language Studies, the Universityof Danang, Vietnam.The study is based on theoretical foundation of scaffolding and PBL in English language teaching.It determines the significance of scaffolding in the effective implementation of PBL and putsforward thoughtful pedagogical implications for carrying out scaffolding strategies, which prove in the study to be effective tools for Business English teachers in project-based learning within thecontext of Business English classrooms at Danang University of Foreign Language Studies.
