Currently in power plants, grid-connected operation transmitters, parameters are often disturbed by system fluctuations, local oscillations in one of the oscillations affecting factory parameters. In which the rotor of the generator is also significantly affected, causing vibration, growling (rumbling) leading to rapid abrasion, reducing mechanical life ... This article introduces and simulates the regime. working normally and affected by fluctuations in capacity, using data of Srepok 3 hydropower plant, located in Buon Kuop Dak Lak hydropower plant to test the current PSS still has defects, since then, the author studied and designed the new controller to apply predictive control to phase compensation (additional damping) to overcome the above problems, quickly quenching oscillations.
