TÓM TẮT
This paper is concerned with the joint estimation ofphase noise and time-varying channel responses in full-duplexmultiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequencydivision multiplexing (OFDM) systems. The time-variation ofphase noise and multipath MIMO channel responses gives riseto the identifiability problem of estimating a large number ofunknowns which is much greater than the number of receivedsignal samples. To overcome the resulting identifiability estimationproblem, this paper employs basis expansion models (BEM)for reducing the number of time-varying channel impairmentparameters to be estimated. Using the BEM-based approximationof the channel impairment responses, this paper formulates apilot-aided algorithm for maximum-a-posteriori (MAP)-basedestimation of the BEM coefficients. This paper provides empiricalmean squared error (MSE) results of the joint channelimpairment parameter estimation and related analytical valuesof Bayesian Cramer Rao lower bounds (BCRLB). The numericalresults illustrate that the use of BEM facilitates reliable estimationof the time-varying channel impairment responses whereasthe corresponding MSE and bit-error-rate (BER) values arecomparable to related BCRLBs and ideal BER ones, respectively
