ABSTRACT
The concrete used in offshore construction now and in the future is very large. The demand for more sustainable concrete structures is therefore really essential in order to against extreme conditions in the marine environment. Vietnam has huge reserves of sand that have not been widely used in concrete production. Therefore, research, development and use of sand concrete in the marine environment in Vietnam is an important issue in order to meet the demand a huge concrete used today and help improve the environment. This study used Taguchi method for optimization of the flexural and compressive strength of sand concrete
