TÓM TẮT
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the teaching hours of the trainee teachers of Faculty of Geography - The University of Science and Education - Da Nang University according to the regulations on assessment of teaching hours applied to high school teachers. The data was collected from a sample of teaching time of 15 trainee teachers from Faculty of Geography course 2016 - 2020, who participated in internship at high schools in Da Nang. Contents and criteria for evaluating teaching hours under(in accordance with) the guidance of Official Letter No. 5555/BGDĐT-GDTrH have been used to evaluate teaching hours of interns in the actual teaching environment. The result shows that, in general, the teaching time of the interns is evaluated mostly in the range from average to fair, lower than the level evaluated by instructors. The strength and (weakness) limitations discovered through this study are also analyzed and taken into consideration to make suggestions and recommendations for The University of Science and Education in order to improve the teaching capacity of students, as well as adjust the regulations on assessing their internship hours.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the general picture of the research of Geography education in the dissertations of students in the University of Danang - University of Science and Education. The data of this study includes 91 thesis of Geographical Teaching, which students of the Faculty of Geography conducted from 2005 to 2020. The results of this study emphasize the diversity of research topics as well as the increasing attention to the research results related to teaching and learning strategies, while there are few topics connected to the application of information technology in teaching. This study also shows that most of the geography education studies have been done at the high schools and mainly used combination research methods. Based on these analyzes and discussions, this study has made recommendations for policy issues and research practices in this field in the next time.
