This article focuses on the benefits of leveraging Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for language testing at the University of Foreign Language Studies, University of Danang, Vietnam. It highlights two key advantages: cost reduction and expedited result release. By adopting ICT-based language testing methods, the university can optimize its expenditure by eliminating paper-based materials and reducing administrative overheads. Furthermore, the use of ICT enables faster processing and scoring of language tests, leading to accelerated result release times. These benefits contribute to more efficient language assessment practices and provide valuable insights for the University of Foreign Language Studies in harnessing ICT to enhance their language testing processes.
ABSTRACT
