The fishes collected and recorded by the researchers between February, 2009 and September, 2009 in the Sourthern sea of Son Tra Peninsula are categorized into 64 species that belonging to 111 gene, 65 families and 14 orders. As observed, the Perciformes are most abundant (110 species, 67,07%) The Clupeiformes have 14 species accuonting for 8,54%. The Anguilliformes and Mugiliformes have the same number of species (6 species, 3,66%). The Beloniformes and Scorphaeniformes also have similar number of species (5 species, 3,05%). The Pleuronectiformes consist 4 species making up 1,83%. The Rajiformes and Tetraodontiformes are identical in the amount of species (3 species, 1,83%). The Myctophiformes, the Siluriformes and Antheriniformes have the same number of species (2 species, 1,22%). Other oders have only one specie ( 0,61%). In all, there are 20 fish species of economic value, 4 valuable and race species in the regional shoal.
