TÓM TẮT
Environmental pollution caused by organic solvents, especially benzene, has seriously affected
ecosystems and human health. In recent years , the treatment of organic solvents by microorganisms has
been of interest to many scientists . From the 20 samples collected contaminated soil at the gas stations, car
and bike mechanic shops, have isolated 46 strains of bacteria has the ability to survive in the environment
MSM benzene containing 1%, selected 6 strains (T2, T4, T6, T7, T9, T10) capable of decomposing ben
zene . The optimal conditions for the growth and development of the 6 selected bacteria strains on MSM me
dium supplemented with 1% benzene and pH 7, at 40 ° C were investigated and determined.
Key word: pollution; organic solvents; benzene; bacteria; decompose, MSM.
