ABSTRACT
Vietnam's coal industry, with a particular focus on mining and resource companies, is facing unprecedented challenges stemming from global trends to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, spread renewable energy, and promote sustainable development. Strategic analysis is a key aspect of strategic planning because it serves to identify areas in which organizations excel and need to be improved. The purpose of this article is to create a comprehensive analytical framework for the micro and macro factors of the environment, ultimately proposing a modern development strategy for the coal joint-stock company Nui Beo. This company, created as a result of cooperation between the Soviet Union and Vietnam, emerged as a result of Soviet design and construction. The author uses a variety of analytical methodologies, including PEST analysis, competitor analysis, Porter's Five Forces model, and SWOT analysis. The results of the study offer an individual development strategy suitable for a diversified raw material enterprise.
