Dr Huy
Le Thanh is a researcher in the field of pedagogy, a lecturer cum Deputy Head
of Training Department of Danang University of Education, Vietnam. He took a
PhD degree in Education in 2013.
In
addition to teaching and training students at the university, he is responsible
for some refresher courses in education management to train and foster
principals and administrators for all levels in Vietnam.
His
research directions include the optimization of teaching methods and the
assessment on academic performance of students in high schools and
universities. In particular, his main research is on the application of
information technology in teaching and the evaluation of learning outcomes of
learners.
Over
the years, he had more than 45 scientific papers presented at
national and international scientific seminars and journals, ten scientific
studies, giving guidance for dozens of students in their scientific studies and
seven postgraduate students in seeking out solutions to effectively teach and
evaluate academic performance of students in high schools and universities.
His
published research works include: Teaching Skills, Teaching Methods, Assessment
Methods, Application Softwares in Specialized Teaching, Application Software in
Offline or Online Evaluation and Reviews, Human-machine Interaction, Multidimensional
Interactive Teaching, Integrated Teaching, Teaching following a learners’ competence development approach,
Evaluating the Learner’s Competency, Artificial Intelligence.
In
addition, he had extensive research works in the e-learning teaching and blended
learning field, especially face-to-face teaching in e-Learning, programmed
teaching method.
