TÓM TẮT
An interpolation technique-based meshfree method using polynomial functions isemployed to analyze static behavior of sandwich beams with functionally graded facesheets and homogenous soft core. Various beam theories are expressed in general formand taken into account both shear deformation and normal deformation effects.Governing equation is derived from the principle of virtual work. The obtained resultshave been verified with the previously published works and a good agreement is found. The effects of skin-core-skin thickness ratios, material volume fraction indices, slenderness ratios, shear deformation and thickness stretching effect on deflection andaxial stress are investigated and discussed
