ABSTRACT
This study aims at the factors impacting on the effectiveness of accounting information system (AIS) at public hospitals. The proposed measuring scales are verified by the coefficient of Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA and CFA. The model and 9 hypotheses are related to 5 concepts including information quality, system quality, task fulfilment, perceiving of usefulness and user’s satisfaction verified by SEM, then re-estimated by bootstrap method to ensure the reliability of the model. The results indicate that AIS task fulfilment impact greatly on user’s satisfaction, then showing AIS effectiveness. In addition, the perceiving of AIS usefulness plays decisive role to AIS, hence indirectly decides accounting information quality. Therefore, in order to enhance AIS effectiveness, it is to start from the leader’s right perceiving of AIS role.
