In this paper, we introduced the concept of Cauchy sn-symmetric spaces, consider properties of Cauchy sn-symmetric spaces with cs-networks (cs∗-networks) having certain σ-(P) properties, and give some characterizations of images of metric spaces under certain sequence-covering π-maps. Then, we give affirmative answers to the problems posed by Y. Tanaka and Y. Ge in [Y. Tanaka and Y. Ge, Around quotient compact images of metric spaces, and symmetric spaces, Houston J. Math. 32 (2006), no. 1, 99-117], and give another partial answers to the problems posed by Y. Ikeda, C. Liu and Y. Tanaka in [Y. Ikeda, C. Liu and Y. Tanaka, Quotient compact images of metric spaces, and related matters, Topology Appl. 122 (2002), no. 1-2, 237-252].
