ABSTRACT
Supply chain finance (SCF),a financial solution which helps fasten the flow of financial in side supply chain (SC) (Aberdeen, 2011), is still a new term in Vietnam, but the benefit of it has been confirmed around the world. As the uncertainties in the global economy and financial markets increase pressure on companies’ cash and their supply chains, this is the most appropriate time that companies need to focus on optimizing their liquidity. Nowadays, more and more SMEs are founded, but most of them run under owners’ money, and they easily face cash constrain situation during their operation life. Understand this concept, we open an exploration study, using both qualitative and quantitative survey, to focus in how small and medium companies in Danang understand about SCF and how they can access to the financial sources. The finding will partly point out some problems in financial flow that local small bussinesses faced and benefit of SCF in order to suggest some solutions for the development of the local supply chain.
