Training in the form of credit-school incessantly aims to make the training process into self-training course for trainees. The new form of training requires teachers reform their teaching methods towards “improving self-learning and self-research ability,… that create conditions for learns to practicipate in research, experimental applications”. From the actual teaching and learning at University of education, Da Nang University, in this paper, we propose some measures to promote self-learning and self-research competence of the students when study history.
