The organization of teaching plane geometry with an emphasis on additional sketching plays a
crucial role in developing qualities and capabilities for students in general and secondary school students in particular, including problem-solving skills and creativity. In this article, we construct the manifestations of problem-solving and creative abilities in the topic of additional sketching in plane geometry based on the manifestations of problem-solving and creative abilities in the mathematics curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training (2018). Additionally, the process of implementing the steps of solving sketching problems in plane geometry is proposed for application in exercises. Furthermore, we analyze the steps of solving various types of sketching problems in plane geometry to clearly see the manifestations of problem-solving and creative abilities developed for students. Our research helps teachers enhance the method of teaching sketching in plane geometry, contributing to the development of problem-solving and
creative abilities for students.
