TÓM TẮT
The paper provides a study of a PID controller to stabilize a ball in the air levitation system. First, the nonlinear model of the system is developed to capture the behavior of the system. Then the nonlinear model is linearized at the equilibrium of the system via Taylor’s theorem. The parameters of the linearized model are identified through the experimental data collected from a real air levitation system. Based on the linearized model, the PID control is designed to control the ball stabilizing at the working point. Both the simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
ABSTRACT
The paper provides a study of a PID controller to stabilize a ball in the air levitation system. First, the nonlinear model of the system is developed to capture the behavior of the system. Then the nonlinear model is linearized at the equilibrium of the system via Taylor’s theorem. The parameters of the linearized model are identified through the experimental data collected from a real air levitation system. Based on the linearized model, the PID control is designed to control the ball stabilizing at the working point. Both the simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
