Tác giả hoặc Nhóm tác giả: Duy-Thao NGUYEN** and Xuan-Toan NGUYEN***
Nơi đăng: 16th Asia Pacific Vibration Conference 24-26 November, 2015; Số: 16th;Từ->đến trang: 767-774;Năm: 2015
Lĩnh vực: Kỹ thuật; Loại: Bài báo khoa học; Thể loại: Quốc tế
TÓM TẮT
Cable is the main component of cable stayed bridge. During its lifetime, cable usually vibrates strongly under some cycle loads such as: wind load, interaction of rain and wind loads and live loads…, then it will be destroyed by fatigue phenomenon. To reduce and decay vibration of cables, some damping devices are used: high damping rubber damper (HDRD), viscous damper (VD), friction damper (FD)… The paper presents the application of friction damper in term of reducing the vibration of cable. The research also provides the Matlab program, which can be used to design damping devices. The program can also optimize parameters of damping device and the suitable location at which the damping devices should be attached
