TÓM TẮT
The corona virus is considered to spread primarily from person to person, apart from close
contact between people, corona virus can be spread by contact with contaminated objects or
surfaces. In order to minimize the risk of cross-infection, this paper proposes a contactless
interaction system with hand gesture recognition to minimize contact between people and
ATMs (Automated Teller Machine) being at risk of virus on the surface. Our system converts
the detected hand gestures into controlling signals applied in ATMs’ functions. Our results
show that contactless HCI can be achieved in order to reducing the risk of cross-infection
during the pandemic’s situation.
