ABSTRACT
The paper presents a comparative analysis between air-cooled and water-cooled condensing processes in a single-stage vapour compression refrigeration system using the non-ozone depleting refrigerant R410A under extremely hot climate conditions in Vietnam. The analysis results show that the utilization of water as a coolant for the condenser contributes to the improvement of the efficiency of the refrigeration system than the use of an air-based coolant, especially under hot weather conditions in Vietnam. In this paper, the weather data in Danang city are selected for the comparative analysis.
