ABSTRACT
The main purpose of the paper is developing some properties of the intersection lattice of a closure mapping and applying these results to the database theory. The structures of keys and antikeys of a closure mapping are specified. Some characterizations of various fixed points of a closure mapping, such as generators, coatoms or antikeys are investigated from different aspects. The connections between these objects of a given closure mapping are presented. Some necessary and sufficient conditions concerning to the numbers and sizes of keys and antikeys of a given closure mapping are considered.
