TÓM TẮT
ABSTRACT: This paper presents the experimental results of Soil Cement Pile (SCpile) applied wet mixing method in sand soil at An Trung Complex apartment, Vietnam. With the characteristic of soil layers is sand soil, the strength of laboratory stabilized soils with the amount of cement from 150¸300kg/m3 was determined. Simultaneously, the author also performed the experiments of 20 SCpile samples collected from the site which has cement content about 280kg/m3 and the unconfined compressive strength qu= 4,5¸6MPa. At the same time, full-scale models of static axial compressive load tests of two single piles and a group of four piles which have a diameter 800mm and 12m length were also conducted. The experiment results show that the bearing capacity of each single pile is 1200kN and the group of four piles is 3200kN. The results presented in the paper illustrate that SCpile is the suitable solution for foundation construction process with love cost and time saving. Keywords: Soil cement pile, wet mixing, sand soil, bearing capacity, laboratory tests, full-scale experiment.
