TÓM TẮT
The application of soil cement pile/column engineering has been applied in Vietnam since the 1980s for the treatment of soft ground in constructions of roads, embankments, airport runways, ports, etc. In Da Nang City- the middle coast of Vietnam, this technology has been applied first in the civil engineering works of Vinh Trung Plaza, which was completed in 2005 by Tenox company from Japan. Recently, there are many civil engineering works using soil cement piles/columns as foundation for buildings bearing a load of 3 to over 10 floors. This paper presents the results from the laboratory to the field including unconfined compression tests and static load test for single pile and pile groups for construction on soft ground in Danang. The results show that the relationship of stress-strain samples containing different amounts of cement from 150 to 350kg/m3 soft ground at 7, 14, 28, 56 and 112 days curing. The fabrication and experiment of static load test for 02 single piles and 01 group of 05 soil cement piles are made and give some interesting results.
