TÓM TẮT
This paper presents results of experimental study about strength characteristics of wet mixing method. Field sampling four kind of soils, from silty sand to coarse sand – the soil symbolizes the Danang – Quangnam province. The series of experiment laboratory samples, coring test on in-situ treated soil had been done. The study focused on two important characteristics of the intensity of soil cement pile in use for the building foundation: unconfined compresive strength (UCS-qu) and bending strength (BS-qb). The result has some correlates about content cement with qu, qb – time, qu-E50, qu-qb and in-situ (by Japanese engineering) with the laboratory strength. On that basis, building correlation equation to determine the different quantities of soil cement pile material and to evaluate the effects of particle size, local soil chemical properties to the intensity strength of soil cement piles.
