ABSTRACT
This paper presents simulation results of the combustion and NOx emissions of a Wave RSX 110cc motorcycle engine using gasohol fuel in the condition of equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation system. A 3D-CFD 1-cylinder engine model was established and calculated using the commercial software of Ansys Fluent V15.0. The results show that the indicator work of biofuel combustion and NOx emissions in the case of using exhaust gas recirculation are better than those in the case of no exhaust gas recirculation. The rate and temperature of exhaust gas recirculation operated in the range of 10-15% and 330-350K, respectively, are highly recommended for the case of using E15 - E20.
