TÓM TẮT
Quality is the first concern of society because it is the human’s motivation to constantly rise and develop. Quality in general is the most important, the quality of education in particular is even more meaningful and important because its product is “human” - the decisive factor in the development of a country. In the process of regional and international integration as powerful as today, ensuring and improving the training quality to reach the quality standards of region and international are crucial issues for the training education in general, at the same time it is an important task for universities in Vietnam in particular. To achieve this, universities in Vietnam should have the basic and comprehensive innovations, especially in the management. This paper refers to the internal functions of higher education quality and quality management in higher education; analyses the model of quality management in universities in Vietnam at present; suggests the solvements for the universities in Viet Nam in applying quality management on university management to ensure and improve the quality of training products as well as contribute to renew managing the system of higher education deployed by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
